OMOTENASHI ESUTE is a premium wellness experience for women, designed to immerse you in the beauty, healing, and hospitality of Japan through all five senses.
Created by the** WABI SPA JAPAN Project, this unique experience goes beyond a facial treatment. It combines Japanese culture, mindfulness, fragrance, and local flavors to offer a truly memorable journey inspired by the spirit of Omotenashi—Japan's tradition of heartfelt hospitality.
Your experience begins with a warm welcome from our staff and a traditional Japanese bow, a gesture of respect and gratitude (Rei). You will then enjoy a cup of Sayama Tea, allowing your body to warm, your travel fatigue to melt away, and your mind to gently settle into the present moment (Yui).
Next, holding a carefully selected crystal, you will be guided through a mindfulness meditation designed to bring calm and clarity to your mind (Shizuka). Gentle breathing exercises help release physical tension (Iki), while the delicate fragrance inspired by Japan prepares you to let go of everyday stress (Sei).
You will then receive a luxurious all-hand facial treatment performed by an experienced therapist (Totonoe · Meguri · Bi). Rather than relying on machines, the treatment emphasizes the warmth of human touch and carefully refined techniques to relax and rejuvenate your face.
To conclude your experience, relax with another cup of Sayama Tea accompanied by Kawagoe's famous sweet potato dessert, allowing yourself to savor the lingering sense of peace and well-being (Wa). If you wish, we will also take commemorative photographs so you can take home beautiful memories of your experience (Okurimono).
After your wellness journey, you may wish to explore Koedo Kawagoe, the historic "Little Edo" town located just about one hour from Tokyo. Walking through its beautifully preserved streets with a refreshed body and peaceful mind offers a completely different way to experience Japan.
OMOTENASHI ESUTE is more than a single salon or regional service. Following its brand launch in Kyoto, the WABI SPA JAPAN Project is expanding to the Kawagoe area in Saitama and aims to bring this uniquely Japanese wellness experience to destinations throughout Japan.
